Atticus receives EPA registration for bifenazate, plans to launch branded-generic ag and professional formulations comparable to Acramite®, Vigilant™, and Floramite®

CARY, NC (March 13, 2017) – Atticus is pleased to announce its EPA registration for bifenazate, which it will enact to launch multiple relevant generic insecticide formulas under the brand name Enervate™ for specialty crops (comparable to Acramite® and Vigilant™) and Actuate™ for greenhouse and nursery (comparable to Floramite®).

Enervate™ is available in both 4 SC and 50 WSB formulations for mite and insect control in key nuts, vegetables and stone fruit. Enervate is currently the only generic alternative of the popular 50 WSB available in a 1-lb foil bag with two 0.5-lb water soluble bags for improved grower convenience and economy. Enervate is a highly effective on-contact miticide with complete life cycle control on labeled mites. It provides control with fewer applications and is an effective resistance management tool.

Actuate™ SC is labeled for control of nuisance mites on ornamental plants in greenhouses, shadehouses, nurseries, landscape, and interior scapes. Actuate SC works on-contact to control insects at every stage and provides a long residual, up to 28 days, while being safe on beneficial mites and insects.
