This powerful insect growth regulator (IGR) contains pyriproxyfen, an active ingredient proven to protect stone fruits, strawberries, apples, citrus and other crops. Reemit 35 WSB is gentle on bees and beneficial insects but is very effective in targeting and eliminating scale insects as well as other pests, including first generation pear psylla, rosy apple aphid, leafrollers, spotted tentiform leaf miner and first-generation codling moth.
Reemit 35 WSB works by suppressing the hatching of eggs laid by treated adults and by inhibiting the adult emergence of targeted insects. Available in a convenient four ounce, water-soluble packet, it should be applied by ground using airblast equipment. Full, thorough coverage is important for best results and should be limited to two applications per season to optimize resistance management.
